Electromagnetic Diaphragm Compressors (Secoh)

Secoh JDK compressors are perfect for small ponds (6 ft deep max), small basins and septic tanks.

Benefits

Electromagnetic diaphragm compressors are often referred to as linear air pumps. Most people would recognize them as aquarium air pumps; they look like a toaster. They use an electromagnetic system that oscillates the diaphragm and creates a steady flow of air. They are simple but very durable, and this is the quietest way to create air pressure. But silence brings limitations, and they provide no more than 4-5 PSI pressure for larger models, and most operate at a maximum of 2-3 PSI.

With the right type of air diffuser, they are ideal for shallow water gardens. We have sold many diaphragm pumps over the years, and the most common comment that comes up is that people are drawn to their quiet operation. However, they can sometimes be wrong about the true depth of their water basins. Picking the wrong compressor can lead to its diaphragms wearing out faster and causing it to break constantly. Trust our salespeople to provide you with the right system.

Canadian Pond.ca Products offers you a wide choice of compressors for aeration. It is possible to make energy-efficient choices while avoiding compromises.
